You might remember Jen and Mark from their engagement session this summer. A few weeks ago they tied the knot. It was supposed to be an outdoor ceremony at the Goldie Mill Ruins but the weather was not co-operating at all. I have decided that I need to start giving out awards to my clients and Jen and Mark are going to get the “Smiled through it all like champs” award. It wasn’t only raining, it was cold and near gale force winds!! I will start with one of my favourite photos :) It was so windy that Jen’s veil blew right off her head!! I believe it was pinned in place :| I am only sad that I was not quick enough to catch the veil in frame.

Anyways, on with the story of their day. A big thanks to Brian for shooting with me!

Jen and Mark decided to move the ceremony inside the music centre beside Goldie Mills. There really was no choice in the matter!

Love this shot Brian caught on their way back down the aisle.

The amazing wedding party braved the weather for some shots in the ruins. We had to use the barrels since Jen and Mark had driven all the way to Niagara to get them for the outdoor ceremony!

Mark was trying to balance with the wind blowing hard. Can you say danger pay!!

We decided we could not take anymore rain and wind so we headed to a mall nearby and had some fun in the hockey rink.

On our way back to the car we found this cute little garden and the rain had lightened up enough to spend a few minutes outside.

I hope Jen and Mark aren’t mad at me for posting this super cute photo! Personally, I love it :)

My perspective of the first dance.

Brians perspective. Heart.

Thanks so much Jen and Mark for having fun with me through it all. You are both incredibly cool cats. xx
