Let me start by saying this. I have posted far too many photos in this blog post. I know that already! I sincerely couldn’t help myself and let me assure you that I pared it down to half of my original number of photos. Today is also my birthday! It is the one day out of the whole year that I can bag off work and do whatever I want without feeling guilty. The day when my husband takes on all my responsibilities and gives me a break from school lunches, car pool, cooking and cleaning. I find it funny that what I chose to do was this blog post since technically it is work! I guess it just goes to show how much I truly love this job :) Enough about me! Let’s talk about my incredible clients and friends Tiffany and Alex.

Alex and Tiffany’s wedding day was, simply said,  perfect. It was thanksgiving weekend…you know the weekend that ended up being 30 degrees…in October!! We met up at the Ancaster Mill to get some getting ready photos in the bridal suite before the evening ceremony. What a beautiful place the Ancaster Mill is. I loved everything about it! So many places to photograph!

Tiffany’s bouquet was so unique with it’s feather accent.

Alex asked for a photograph of his cuff links which were a gift from Tiffany. Apparently he has a nickname that relates to the shape of them :)

I loved these little packets filled with lavendar that guests were given to sprinkle on the bride and groom as they walked back down the aisle together.

The outdoor ceremony location at the Ancaster Mill is one of the prettiest I have ever seen!

Alex and Tiffany had it thought out down to every last detail including miniature tissue boxes!

I love the moment when a Daddy sees his daughter all dressed up to meet her new husband. Gets me every time.

During the ceremony Tiffany and Alex’s Mothers lit their own candles to pass on to their kids who would light a single candle together and extinguish the individual ones. A beautiful tradition that touched my heart.

I love this photo. I know it isn’t going to go on a magazine cover but you would know how special it is if you were there with me. Families letting go and uniting all at the same time. Amazing.

Alex LOVES to fish so her Dad brought along some old fishing rods as props so we had a little fun with them!

I loved all the little details Tiffany included in her day. From the white pumpkins to the antique post cards to the bird cage for letters. Amazing!

Tiffany and Alex moved to Berlin shortly after the wedding and so when I saw this map I decided to use it to photograph the rings! I love how it turned out!

The last thing Tiffany and Alex had me photograph was their first dance. It was a perfect blend of fun and romantic.
