kaite + Tim | married | guelph, on

I have to start this blog by posting a video that literally took my breath away. Everyone deserves this kind of love….like the love between Katie and Tim. I am so honored to have been a part of this day. Thank you to my good friends from Jenn Stark Photographers for shooting with me!

Tim wrote a journal during the months leading up to their wedding and gifted it to Katie. Tim…..you rock my friend….you had us all in tears.
A special kiss for Katie from her girls :)
Katie made these spectacular cake pops for every guest at her wedding. Amazing.

Liz + frank | married | cambridge, on

You may remember Liz and Frank from their engagement session last fall. I met up with Liz at her friends house in Cambridge where I met her wonderful family. I have never received such a warm welcome with hugs and kisses to boot. An amazing way to start the day.

Those bridesmaids dresses are not easy to tie! After  a video and some collaboration Liz and her sister figured it out.
The moment when parents see their little girl for the first time ready to marry is pretty powerful and one that I always look forward to.
Liz is unbelievably beautiful…
Since Liz and Frank opted for a sunset ceremony we did a first look :)
I was moved by a sincere moment between Liz and her Grandma just before the ceremony
Frank and his three sisters. He mentioned later in his speech how interesting it was growing up in a house with so many women.
I LOVE this moment I caught as Liz’s mom handed her over to Frank at the end of the aisle. I adore the way Liz is smiling at Frank.
What is a wedding these days without a photobooth. Big smiles.

Leanne + Scott | married | milton, on

I thought I would start this post of Leanne and Scott’s wedding with a photo we did during their engagement session last fall. It explains perfectly how hilarious these two are. Being around Leanne you can not help but notice that she is always smiling! I think that is in large part due to Scott who is obviously a trouble making jokster who LIVES to make her laugh.

A little fun with the wedding party :)
Hahahaha Scott I do LOVE your sense of humour.
Possibly my favourite photo from the entire wedding day.
A train whipped by as we were doing our photos on the bridge and it was sooo noisy we thought we would give the conductor a little lip haha!
What a gorgeous location it was. We were at the Glencarin Golf Course in Milton.
Leanne teaches highland dancing at her school in Acton. You can check out her website by clicking HERE! We thought it would be cute to get some shots in her ghillies!

I LOVED watching these incredibly talented women perform some highland dancing. Amazing is the only word I can use to describe it!
Some not so serious wedding cake cutting time!

And of course we HAD to do a photobooth with this crazy bunch!!!

bill + mel | married | waterloo, on

Ahhhhh what do I say about these two cats!? After their engagement session I affectionately call Bill Mr Romance…you can click HERE to find out why. Bill and Mel got married at St Michaels Church in Waterloo.

Bills uncle is a very talented musician and played for them at the ceremony.

We did some family photos back at the Steckle Family Farm where Bill and Mel held their reception. Both Bill and Mels families are just as charismatic as they are. I love seeing generations of family coming together to celebrate :)

Mels bouquet was perfect….exactly what I would choose if I were to marry Jerry again today.

Mel and I both thought we had better get a photo of Bill on this tractor. He was such a good sport about it!

I adore the cozy cottage feel that Bill and Mel made in the barn. They provided blankets for their guests since it was April and weather was unpredictable. It ended up being a bit chilly and so they were put to good use!

We set up a photo booth on the dance floor and as always the guests did not disappoint! I do LOVE seeing the results of a glass of wine or two and some goofy props.

Thank you for being you Bill and Mel. I loved every minute of your wedding xx

Steve + Mindy | married | Ingersoll, on

Ohhhh how I adore Steve and Mindy. Mindy is the coolest girl I have ever met…she just has swagger. I have always admired people who are witty, since I am not even remotely witty myself. The wittiest person I know is my cousin Jon but I am afraid he has some competition with Steve. I would LOVE to get those two in a room together…I am certain it would be brilliantly entertaining. I was so proud to be photographing this wedding. I met Mindy and Steve at Jenna and Ian’s wedding and we clicked instantly. I came home and befriended them on Facebook. I wish we lived closer so we could hang out because they are my kind of peeps!

We met up at the AMAZING Elmhurst Inn. I have to mention that they had the most friendly and accommodating staff I have had the pleasure of working with. The location is stunning to boot.

Steve don’t be mad at me but I HAD to post a photo of your socks ;)

Steve and Mindy chose to see one another before the ceremony. I love when couples do this!!!

Boom chica wow wow ;)

Just look at Steve’s face when he was watching Mindy come down aisle. Sniff sniff!

Traditional Tea ceremony! LOVE!!!!

I snuck off to get a photo of the rings and I was starving so I grabbed a fortune cookie on my way out…..

…look what was inside my cookie :) :)

A celebratory cigar outside with the boys :)
