I was so proud to be a part of Chantel’s wedding. She is my niece and one of the sweetest women I know. Lexi and I met up with her in New Hamburg where she was getting ready at her parents place. My girlfriend Lexi (a fantastic photographer from Boston) was here visiting for the weekend and graciously joined me for the wedding. I always love shooting with Lex…it’s like having two of me :) Win!Sisters make my heart smile. Lexi grabbed this shot while they were goofing around. Lexi grabbed this one of Chantel and I am in love with it! So peaceful. The boys and I decided it would be fun to play peek a boo from the bushes. It just seemed like a good idea at the time!The church was the most adorable little place. It was small and intimate and it was set in amongst a gorgeous property on the Museum grounds. Another one from Lexi! I do love “the smolder” Cam!

Lexi grabbed this one outside the museum just before we headed in for the reception. My brother made this amazing display of cake stands….I was tempted to put one in my purse on the way out but it wouldn’t fit ha!People had to hula hoop to get the bride and groom to kiss. I knew there would be some crazy antics and Chan’s grandpas didn’t let us down!I love a proud bouquet catcher shot :) Chan and Cam, sending you Big Love and many blessings. Love, me

Katlyn + Jamie | Married | New Hamburg, On

I met up with Katlyn at her parents dairy farm just outside of New Hamburg. It was the perfect place for photographs! With all the rain I had in early June weddings it was a nice change to see the sun for this wedding. It was much warmer then their frosty engagement session too! I loved meeting Katlyn and Jamie’s friends and family. Everyone was beyond kind and I want to especially thank Katlyn’s Mom and Dad for taking me around their amazing property. It truly is a beautiful place. After the ceremony we headed back to the farm for photos. Katlyn has a gorgeous dog and I had to grab a quick photo of him :) The ladies wanted to try to get a “Bridesmaids” shot haha. So fun. Friends of the family baked delicious cupcakes for Katlyn and Jamie’s reception. We stole a few for a little snack. Yum!Congratulations Katlyn and Jamie. Emilee + Aaron | married | cambridge Mill

I cried at this wedding….twice. I don’t feel it is my place to share all of the intimate details of their day but I will say that something bigger was at work this day. I was honoured to be there and help Emilee and Aaron and their families document such a wonderful day. This ring has been in the family for generations being passed down to the first born daughter and it now belongs to Emilee. Emilee’s mom had a gorgeous mini bouquet instead of a corsage. Love. Aaron had to give the boys a lesson on how to tie their ties! He was a good teacher!I am not sure what this little cheer was for but Id like to think it was a fist pump for hiring the awesomest photographer EVER??!!?

Aaron and Emilee decided to do a first look before the ceremony and get all photos done before hand. It was threatening to storm ALL DAY so we headed for some indoor shots at a local green house…..of course it didn’t end up raining….until the outdoor ceremony. We decided we were afraid of the geese so Aaron offered to shoo them away. Emilee’s hero :) It’s not easy avoiding mass amounts of geese poop!We headed to the mill for some family photos just before the ceremony. Emilee and her mom are so close….reminds me of myself and my mom <3LOOK at Em’s Dad’s face when he turned around and saw her for the first time. Be still my heart.

And Aaron’s little nephew is so adorable.This is a photo I took 3 minuted before the ceremony begun. It was sunny….and beautiful…..then……The exact moment Em started down the aisle it began to rain…..Then in poured…..ANNNNNND poured……And poured. Might I mention that Em and Aaron smiled the whole time :) Then literally the minute the ceremony ended the sun came out and the rain just…..stopped. What would you do right after getting married in the pouring rain? This if you are Em and Aaron. The Cambridge Mill is a gorgeous location. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Emilee and Aaron and both your families for letting me in and taking me along for the ride. I loved every minute of it. Love, me.

What a day it was for Matt and Agnes’ Cambridge Wedding. It poured literally from Dawn to Dusk. Usually on a rainy day here we will get some break in the weather to head outside but not this day. The boys braved the storm and we headed outside with them for a few photos but we didn’t last long and we didn’t even try with the girls. Instead we headed to the Hespeler library for some indoor photographs. Agnes’ shoes were spectacular!

A gift from Matt.Sisters <3 This is the view from their reception at the Cambridge Mill. Even with the rain it was beautiful.Thank you Agnes and Matt for an amazing experience. Your amazing attitudes despite the rain made the day such a joy to photograph. I can’t wait to share the other 400 photos!! Love, me

I have to start this blog by posting a video that literally took my breath away. Everyone deserves this kind of love….like the love between Katie and Tim. I am so honored to have been a part of this day. Thank you to my good friends from Jenn Stark Photographers for shooting with me!

Tim wrote a journal during the months leading up to their wedding and gifted it to Katie. Tim…..you rock my friend….you had us all in tears. A special kiss for Katie from her girls :)Katie made these spectacular cake pops for every guest at her wedding. Amazing.
